Firefoxのプロファイル作り直し

Firefoxのプロファイル作り直し

先週くらいに作り直したのでまとめ。

新規プロファイルの作成

Terminalからプロファイルマネージャーを起動。

$ /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox -ProfileManager

新規プロファイルを作成 > 名前はなんでもいい。自分は作成日(YYYYMMDD)で付けてる。移行中は前のプロファイルで起動したくなるときがあるので、今後このプロファイルを使用する のチェックをオフにしておく。Firefoxが起動したら一旦終了する。

旧プロファイルから新プロファイルにコピー

ブックマークと履歴
places.sqlite
bookmarkbackups
クッキー
cookies.sqlite
パスワード
key3.db
signons3.txt
サイトごとの(クッキーなどの)許可
permissions.sqlite

環境設定

一般
Firefoxを起動するとき: 前回終了時のウインドウとタブを表示する
次のフォルダに保存する: ~/Download
コンテンツ
Javascript 詳細設定 > ウインドウの移動または大きさの変更 オフ
Javascript 詳細設定 > コンテキストメニューを無効化または変更する オフ
プライバシー
表示したページの履歴を少なくとも 365 日分は残す
詳細
ネットワーク > ページキャッシュとして 5MB まで使用する (polipo使ってるので0がいいんだけど、0だとtomblooのUpload from Cacheが出来なくなるので)

近頃CVS HEADの変更が激しくプラグインの対応を把握できなくなってきたので1.2まで戻した。codereposのtrunkにあるのは1.2で動かない可能性が高いので、tags/2.0pre_1016を使うと大体動く(自分が使ってる中で動かなかったのはauto_detect_link.jsだけ)。

VimperatorプラグインのlookupDictionary.jsが使う。と思ったんだけど1.2用のバージョンだと使ってないかも。いずれ最新版に入れ替えたら使うだろうしいいか。

よくわかんないんだけどアクションが全部 マウスからの入力を検知しない で URIの検出方法 も空欄のまま変更を保存してくれない。ので現状動いてない。前にもあったような気がする。ぼくだけ？
B.B.S/2140 "Re: テキストリンク:Firefox for OSXでの不具合" - outsider reflexを参考にprefs.js直接書き替えて対応した。

その後

作り直したかった目的のひとつに、「特定の認証ダイアログが画面外に出て帰ってこない」というのがあったんだけど、解決せず。パスワードマネージャあたりの設定に残留してたのかな。

まあ、そんな感じで。
